What CapWrap does not do
Hard limits so you are not surprised at review time or when a plugin is missing.
CapWrap is opinionated. These are product limits, not bugs.
Accounts and legal
- Does not enroll you in Apple Developer or Play Console
- Does not create the first App Store / Play app record
- Does not promise “no App Store review”
- Does not set age rating, pricing, IAP products, Data safety, or export compliance beyond the encryption checkbox
Builds and devices
- Does not give you a hosted Mac or Android farm beyond your GitHub Actions
- Does not run a real iOS simulator in the browser
- QR preview is web-only (Preview)
- Does not submit to production or external TestFlight from the desk yet
- Does not cancel/retry a GitHub job from CapWrap
Code and AI
- Does not replace Lovable, Cursor, or Xcode for custom native code
- Does not guarantee the wrap PR compiles; the follow-up prompt exists for a reason
- Does not push listing screenshots to Apple or Google yet
Teams and billing
- One owner per app today (no organizations or roles)
- Billing is not live
- Integrations page is a placeholder
Live updates
OTA via Capgo is in the codebase but turned off in the product until store shipping is the default path.
If you need something on this list, use App Store Connect, Play Console, GitHub, or your coding tool — then come back to CapWrap to ship the binary.
